Keep Discovering, on your doorstep!

July 22, 2020

As we all continue to take the necessary care & precautions at this time, for many of us this year our summer holidays will be spent at home. While we may not all be able to tour around the country, each week we will suggest some fun activities in & around the Grand Canal Dock area for you, family, or friends to do!

This week, why not check out WakeDock?

Wakedock is Ireland’s first cable wakeboard park, located in the heart of the Dublin Docklands area.

Their System 2.0 is ideal for beginners to learn wakeboarding. There are five obstacles, an incline ramp with a rail, a small and a big kicker, a slider, and a rooftop rail, which guarantees tons of fun for more advanced riders. Only one wakeboarder uses the cable at any time. The speed can be adjusted to the rider’s ability and after a fall, the cable is stopped and the handle brought back to the rider – there is no need to swim to the quayside or back to the start pontoon.

Wakedock offers sessions for adults and kids, individuals and groups, corporate teams, hen and stag parties, and more.
