The Taoiseach says a plan to buy up land near Dublin Port is underway.
The extra space will be used for border checks if the UK crashes out of the EU without a deal.
Medicines are being stockpiled – while Leo Varadkar says no one in Ireland will go hungry.
He says the purchase of land at the ports in Dublin and Rosslare is continuing.
The Taoiseach stated “They’ll be available both at Dublin Port and Rosslare for customs, post, checks whatever we may need.
“If they’re not needed for that they can be used for future port expansion.
