Mark your diaries! The Docklands Summer Festival will be taking place at Grand Canal Dock 21 – 22 May 2016. The festival showcases exciting on water sporting activities and on land family amusements.

The festival provides you with an opportunity to soak up an exciting urban recreational environment. The refurbished canal dock provides a world class recreation space right in the centre of Dublin and the mix of on-water activities is designed to give everybody an opportunity to participate!

The beautiful Grand Canal Plaza with local cafes, bars and restaurants (many of which face onto the water) provide wonderful al fresco facilities and are the perfect place to watch on-land activities located on Grand Canal Plaza.

On-water activates include an international wakeboarding competition, charity rubber ducky race, water sport Come and Try It sessions and a corporate raft challenge. On-land activities include food market, corporate golf challenge, street performers, balloon artists, face painters, fun fair attractions and children’s arts venue in the Waterways Ireland Visitor Centre.
