The preferred bidder for the An Post site on Cardiff Lane has been named, New Generation Homes, a company founded by two brothers over three years ago. A planning application for the site is expected to be submitted shortly, if approved, it is expected that the development will be completed within 2 to 3 years. Patrick Crean, Chief Executive of New Generation Homes, said “The plans we have for the site reflect the quality that has emerged in the vibrant heart of Dublin’s Docklands”. The planning application is for 200,000 sq ft of office space and 100 residential apartments on the site. The hope for this development is to attract other global brands into the area.
