The Sean O’Casey Community Centre was opened in February 2009 by Bertie Ahern T.D. and local resident & neighbour Mary Downes. The building was designed by award winning architects O’Donnell & Tuomey, for more information please click here. The centre itself has won a number of awards. The concept of the centre was to enrich and engage the local and greater community in the arts, culture, sports and education and to provide facilities to both young and old.
