The Management Company Apleona Real Estate on behalf of Grand Canal Harbour Management Limited manages areas in the Grand Canal Harbour area , providing and maintaining the common area infrastructure which includes: security, cleaning, lighting, waste , playground , CCTV and general maintenance of the paths, roads, the square and general open areas.All of the commercial units and residential units in the area contribute a public service charge to fund these operations.

Rules of Public Space
Use of space
Public area space can only be used by occupiers of the space if they have provided the specific details as outlined in the permitted application provider by Apleona Real Estate Limited
A permit is required for any works / contractors on common area ground / or events on Grand Canal Square
Permit application attached . Please note there is a minimum 72 hour turnaround time on permit applications due to the volume of applications .

Parking
All public space is under the parking controls of APOCA, all rules must be adhered to. These rules can be found on sign posts throughout the estate.
Vehicles on Pedestrian Area
Vehicles are unauthorised on the pedestrianized area with in Grand Canal Harbour Management Company Limited. Should you require access to the pedestrian area you must contact the Property Manager for access.
Grand Canal Square is a pedestrian area . Only emergency vehicles are permitted on The Square
Bollards
Removal of bollards by occupiers to allow vehicles servicing the building is unauthorised.
Loading Area’s
Loading/ Unloading of goods can only take spaces in the areas provided for within the estate, these loading bays are clearly sign posted and are monitored by APOCA
Damage to Public Space
Damage to Public Space by occupiers will be charged back to the offending building/contractor.
CCTV / Security
CCTV is in operation throughout the estate and is monitored 24 hours a day. There is also a patrolling officer within the estate throughout the day.
Event/ Permits
Permit application must be completed for the use of all public spaces in Grand Canal Harbour Management Company Limited

General Notes
- There are no public conveniences in the complex(s)
- No permission can be granted for free standing signage or signs attached to lamp posts or finger posts ( estate property ) . Such advertisement will be removed and disposed of immediately
- Adequate provision for collection and removal of waste or refuse associated with your request must be made by the applicant, otherwise an associated charge may apply
- Clean-up and repair must be undertaken by those to whom permission is granted, otherwise charges will apply
- There is no parking available on site for vehicles or transportation which is not the subject of the request. (Parking is available in the local public car parks.) Loading & unloading facilities of 20min slots can be arranged in conjunction with your permit
- A 24hr contactable number must be given in advance to a representative of Apleona Real Estate, if the event or access exceeds one day
- If access is granted on site, you must abide by the security and emergency procedures on site.
