Andrea Bocelli Classical Duets Tour

July 4, 2016

One of the world’s great voices, Andrea Bocelli returns to the UK & Ireland celebrating the greatest movie songs of all time. Joining him on stage in Dublin and London for Classical duets, will be superstar Nicole Scherzinger and leading Irish soprano Celine Byrne.

The biggest selling solo classical artist of all time, Bocelli has performed for four U.S. presidents, two popes and the royal family, as well as at ceremonies for the Olympic Games and the World Cup. He has been praised by such luminaries as Luciano Pavarotti, Franco Corelli, Zubin Mehta, Jose Carreras, Lorin Maazel, Renee Fleming and Celine Dion, who once introduced him by saying: “I heard someone say that if God had a singing voice, he would sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli.”

Andrea Bocelli has sold over 80 million albums around the world, his 1999 Sacred Arias album has sold over 5 million copies, making it the best selling classical recording of all time.  His pop career, including the much loved Time To Say Goodbye, a duet with Sarah Brightman that reached Number 1 in charts around the world in 1998, may have drawn millions in, but Bocelli has always enthusiastically shared his classical calling. Nicole recently showcased her talent in the West End revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Cats’ to great acclaim, receiving an Olivier Award nomination for her performance.

On performing with Andrea, Nicole says “It’s such an honor to share the stage with Mr. Bocelli; we always have the best time working together and singing with him is truly the closest I’ve ever come to singing with an angel.  I was so appreciative that he asked me to perform alongside him once again and I am very much looking forward to another unforgettable show.” As was the case with all of his previous sold out Dublin concerts, Maestro Bocelli will be accompanied by an orchestra and choir.

Tickets for Andrea Bocelli live at 3Arena on 28 September cost from €55 including booking fee via Ticketmaster.
