Vice President and head of Google in Ireland, Fionnuala Meehan has confirmed that Google have leased an additional 51,000 square ft of office space near its EMEA HQ in Dublins Docklands. Meehan stated that the Google workforce has now reached more than 7,000.

The Google VP announced that the company had closed the long-awaited deal to lease the Velasco building, which is a 6 storey office building located on the corner of Grand Canal street and Clanwilliam Place which is close to Google’s Dublin HQ on Barrow Street.
