“A major new Christmas market, I Believe, in coming to Dublin in 2015, opening November 26^th at 4pm. The inaugural market is located at the Custom House Quarter with a vision to develop and grow the initiative into one of most iconic and successful Christmas Markets / Villages in Europe within a 3 to 5 year period. From 2016, the I Believe team would like to expand the market to a number of ancillary locations throughout Dublin and looks forward to working with all the City authorities and business organisations to achieve the vision and rival European icons such Cologne, Brussels, Paris and the Czech capital Prague by 2018”

With a focus on supporting Irish businesses, traders, craftspeople, producers and charities, I BELIEVE™ will run for 28 days in the lead-up to Christmas from Thursday, 26^th November until Wednesday, 23^rd December at the exceptional setting of Custom House Quarter in Dublin, which includes George’s Dock, The chq Building and its surrounding area.

I BELIEVE™ will be Ireland’s first winter food, drink, craft and horticulture festival centered on what will be the country’s most iconic Christmas tree, donated by Coillte to the people of Ireland. Standing at 50 foot tall, it will be inspired by the 82-year tradition behind the world-famous Rockefeller Tree in New York. With over 10,000 visitors expected per day, I BELIEVE™ will add an estimated €8.4 million to the economy, in addition to creating over 230 seasonal job.

I BELIEVE™ will be proudly putting Dublin on the map this Christmas with an iconic 50ft Irish Christmas Tree, planted in Co. Wicklow and donated by Coillte. I BELIEVE™ will kick off with the inaugural Annual Tree Lighting ceremony on Thursday, 26^th November, which will be free and open to the public to enjoy. Set to become Dublin’s finest Christmas landmark, it will rival New York’s Rockefeller Tree and become a new nation-wide official symbol of the Christmas season.

Dublin’s iconic Clery’s Santa will be relocating his workshop and elves to the I BELIEVE™ Christmas Tree and Village for 2015 Santa’s new workshop will be located at the exceptional setting of Custom House Quarter in Dublin, which includes George’s dock, the CHQ building and it’s surrounding area. With a 30-minute group Santa experience, limited to 30 children per session, the children will meet Santa and his elves in his workshop for singing, fun and enchanting Christmas stories. Children will be encouraged to write their letter to Santa and pop into his official post box located in our kids Christmas play area. Ticket price includes a commemorative photograph to take away, a magical bell to help Santa fly his sleigh and entrance to an exclusive kids area, which includes arts, crafts and family Christmas movies.
