Kennedy Wilson To Install ‘Architectural Fins’ At Dublin Site to Reduce Carbon Emissions

June 8, 2023

A Dublin Docklands site is to install 2,000 architectural fins on the facade of its buildings in order to reduce carbon emissions.

The Coopers Cross development, a joint venture between Kennedy Wilson and US real estate investment fund Cain International, is a 6-acre mixed use campus currently in development.

The developers said installation of the 65cm deep and 15m tall fins will work to reduce solar gain, negating the need for artificial cooling or heating, the first use of its kind in Ireland.
