The Wolfe Tones Announce Two Extra Dublin Dates

January 19, 2023

The Wolfe Tones have scheduled two additional shows at the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin.

They added two additional gigs, on April 16 and 17, 2023, in response to “phenomenal demand” and after selling out the first two nights. Tickets went on sale Wednesday at 10am on Ticketmaster, starting at €35.00 (plus booking costs).

The Wolfe Tones, one of the most well-known Irish folk bands in the world, are commemorating 58 brilliant years on the road. The legendary music group, made up of Noel Nagle, Tommy Byrne, and Brian Warfield, continues to enthrall audiences and fill concert halls throughout the world.

During the early 1960s ballad boom, the band began its career as a balladeer. To date, 19 of their albums have received high reviews. They will now perform a few of their old favourites that they haven’t performed live in a long time.

Their accomplishments include being awarded the Freedom of the City of New York and Los Angeles, obtaining Philadelphia’s highest honor—the Liberty Bell—and making countless appearances at Carnegie Hall in New York. The Wolfe Tones performed in the esteemed Town Hall Theatre in New York City in March 2022, selling out two nights on Broadway.
