Darker Times in Dublin – The History of the Docklands

We have always been a nation know for its commerce and trade, where Dublin’s Docklands was the centre of business, except that now it has changed to the city’s center of technology, innovation and cosmopolitanism.

However, the Docklands were not always an area prosperity, as historian Turtle Bunbury has revealed. He reports on the history and meanings behind street names located in and around the Docklands, such as Misery Hill and Gallows Hill.
