Jeanie Johnston ‘Re-Opened’ On Liffey

Tallship Jeanie Johnston, one of Dublin’s most popular tourist attractions has reopened on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, with tours of the tall ship now available once again.

Jeanie Johnston a replica of a 19th century famine-emigrant tall ship has been moved due to the dry dock where she was once housed closing.

The guided tours detail the role of the original Jeanie Johnston that made 16 emigrant journeys between Ireland to America between 1847 and 1855, transporting over 2,500 people with no loss of life. Details of the tours can be found on their website.
