As a show of solidarity and hope for all in this current pandemic, in particular for the frontline workers in Ireland and across the world homes, Government buildings and other national and local public buildings took part in the Shine Your Light Campaign.
Waterways Ireland took part in the campaign by lighting up a heart in Grand Canal Dock basin from 8 p.m. on Easter Saturday. The Basin was lit up with a floating installation of lit candles.
We continue to urge Grand Canal Dock community to abide by Government guidelines to stay at home and stay 2 metres from others when out in public for essential purposes.
