Dublin City Council and OpenAI team up for tourism project

Open AI, the parent company of ChatGPT, is teaming up with Dublin City Council to showcase the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance and support the tourism industry.

A new tool will be developed to demonstrate the potential of generative AI to support unique, bespoke experiences for visitors to Dublin instead of using generic to-do lists.

The collaboration will also see a hands-on workshop being held for leaders of smart tourism destinations across the EU this September in Dublin.

The session will explore how AI can be used in various aspects of tourism, including city promotion, destination branding, tourism engagement, and itinerary planning.
