’Dublin Ships’ – Art Installation

Dublin Ships

An art installation titled ‘Dublin Ships’ is currently on exhibit in Dublin’s Docklands. The Installation which was commissioned by Dublin City Council will be exhibited for six months. The artist, Cliona Harmey, is a graduate and lecturer at the National College of Art and Design. The exhibition juxtaposes the names of two ships, in inverse black and white/white and black panels. The names displayed on the panels, change with every ship that comes and goes. The exhibition can be viewed at  Scherzer Bridges, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1.
