Dublin’s Canals and Waterways go Pink this Weekend

This Saturday, to mark the finale of the ‘Paint it Pink’ breast cancer awareness campaign, Dublin’s canals and waterways are going pink.

Over 600 different events have taken place around the country in support of the Irish Cancer Society.

Hundreds of pink balloons will brighten up the capital’s canals and locks, while Grand Canal Dock will play host to a floating outdoor screening of the 80’s classic, ‘Pretty in Pink’.
