Google makes further property acquisitions in the Docklands

Google has sealed its latest move to increase its massive footprint in the Docklands with completion of a deal to acquire two office buildings from Kennedy Wilson.

The Irish Independent previously reported Google’s deal to buy South Bank House and The Warehouse, beside the tech giant’s European HQ on Barrow Street, Dublin 4. Both buildings are leased to law firm Mason Hayes and Curran. It follows Google’s €300m purchase of the neighbouring Bolands Quay – a massive development site.

South Bank House, built in 2006, provides over 62,000 sq ft of Grade A offices. The Warehouse is a refurbished 19th century, three-story building of over 19,500 sq ft.
