The new services were the subject of the greatest feedback in last autumn’s timetable consultation, in which over 1,500 people participated.

Irish Rail has announced a brand new weekday service between Dublin and Wexford.

The return service between Connolly Station and Gorey will start on Monday, May 22. The route will operate as follows:

• 20:05hrs Dublin Connolly to Gorey (arrive Gorey 21:59hrs)
• 22:25hrs Gorey to Dublin Connolly (arrive Connolly 00:08hrs)
