Nama Spent Millions Fixing Second McNamara Development

Nama has recently revealed that it has spent millions of euro fixing safety defects in another Bernard McNamara development. The work was done with the Elm Park office and apartment project on Merrion Road in Dublin. Nama said it had approved a receiver to do the work to make the development fully compliant with all safety regulations.

The news comes amid increasing pressure on Mr McNamara to make a contribution towards the €4m needed to bring his Longboat Quay development in Dublin’s docklands, which has been in the news recently up to fire safety standards.
