State Street Celebrates 20 Years in Ireland

State Street are celebrating  their 20th anniversary of the company’s arrival in the Irish market. Joseph L. Hooley, Chairman and CEO of State Street Corporation hosted a reception for clients, business partners and community leaders at State Stareet’s Irish head office in Dublin’s docklands which was also attended by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny.

Employing  more than 2,500 people in Dublin, Naas, Drogheda and Kilkenny, they have almost doubled their Irish workforce in the past decade.  State Street is Ireland’s largest provider of fund administration services across both domiciled and non-domiciled funds.

An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny today commented, “I am impressed by State Street’s ongoing commitment including their collaboration with our academic institutions, their graduate intake programmes around the country and State Street’s support for the Irish FinTech agenda. I congratulate State Street and their employees in Dublin, Naas, Drogheda and Kilkenny on twenty years of growth and progress in Ireland and I wish them every success for the future.”
