Sweeney Firm Set For €32m Dublin Hotel Project

Well-known Galway-based businessman John Sweeney has secured planning permission to develop a €32m hotel on Dublin’s Amiens Street, close to Connolly Station and the IFSC.

The investment marks a return to the Dublin hospitality sector for Mr Sweeney, whose extensive pre-crash business interests ranged from oil distribution to property and included a stake in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel.
