Whats on?: Maverick Sabre Returns to Dublin For his Debut Album’s 10 Year Anniversary
December 1, 2022
Born in England and raised in New Ross in Wexford, songwriter, producer and rapper Maverick Sabre is delighted to announce he will be headlining Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre for the very first time on Sunday 4th December 2022, to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of his acclaimed debut album, Lonely Are The Brave. – 3Olympia
Sabre, now 32 will headline his first show at the 3Olympia in order to celebrate the re release of his debut album, Lonely Are The Brave. The musician rose to stardom with hit singles ‘Let me go’ & ‘I need’ back in 2012 and has gone on to have an extremely successful career working with top artists such as Jorja Smith & Kojaque to name but two.
The Re release of the album comes as a result of the singer attempting to ‘gain back control’ of his catalogue claiming he had never received any royalties from that project since it’s widely popular release in 2012. Stating that ‘it is not uncommon for this to happen in the music industry’, Sabre’s claims can be seen to bare fruit with artists such as Taylor Swift having recently re released albums they were wrongly denied royalties for.
The re release will be as close to the original as possible while allowing himself to have moments to reinterpret what he once created with how he produces music in the present day.
The album released yesterday November 30th and is available in all platforms and formats.
To support this reissue, Maverick Sabre is also touring the UK & Ireland, with the Irish show taking place this weekend on the 4th of December 2022.
Limited tickets are still available for the show, which is sure to be a great evening, can be purchased through Ticketmaster here
