Colin Judge, born and raised in Blackrock, is preparing for his second Paralympic Games in Paris from August 28 to September 8 this year.

He is currently the sole table tennis player representing Ireland, with the qualification window closing at the end of March.

Born without three limbs, Colin credits his parents for encouraging his independence as he was growing up.

“I’ve tried to do as much as I can by myself, and I think that made me strong when difficulties arose through my teenage years when I became more aware,” he said.

Since debuting internationally in 2012, Colin has represented Ireland multiple times, securing notable victories, including his first gold medal at the 2015 Romanian Open and claiming five Irish National Championships.
